exit-guide vanes

Fixed vanes at the discharge end of an axial-flow compressor. These vanes straighten out the air flowing out of the compressor and ensure that it leaves in an axial direction. The discharged air from the axial-flow compressor is swirling before the exit-guide vanes make it axial.
